Purchase policy
Yoga Me reserves the right to refuse admission to classes.
You must provide full name, email address, one telephone number and have completed the PAR-Q form in order to purchase one of our classes.
Late Policy
It is important that you arrive on time as arriving late is unacceptable as the beginning of class is usually dedicated to meditation.
There will be a 15 minute window for you to arrive at class before class begins. Once this 15 minute period expires, the doors will be locked and you will not be admitted to class if you haven’t arrived. Please do not knock on the doors as you still won’t be admitted. You will still be charged credit as if you had attended the class.
If you are consistently a no-show or late, you may be denied service in the future.
Cancellations
If you can no longer attend a class, you have a 12 hour window to cancel the class. You will be refunded credit if you cancel within this timeframe. You will not be refunded if otherwise.
Should Yoga Me cancels the class last minute, you will be refunded credit.
If a class has to be interrupted or abandoned, refunds will not be issued if more than half the class has taken place.
Conduct
Participants are expected to behave in a respectful, considerate and safe manner at all times. Disruptive behaviour, harassment, discrimination, or actions that compromise the safety and wellbeing of others will not be tolerated. The teacher reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any individual whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or in breach of these terms. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
Do not attempt to do assists on other participants during a class, even if you are a qualified yoga teacher.
Do not spray perfume, oils, or any aerosol devices around the room as the smell may be unpleasant for others and cause allergic reactions.
Occasional banter with the teacher is welcome during the class, but keep it appropriate and to a minimum. Having long, disruptive conversations with other participants during class is not permitted.
Medical Emergencies
If someone has a medical emergency in the class, you may be asked to call 999 for an ambulance and retrieve a nearby defibrillator whilst the teacher administers CPR.
If this is the case, the operator will give you instructions on how to retrieve the defibrillator including the code to unlock it. The defibrillator also runs through the instructions on how to use it.
Electronic Devices
Electronic devices such as phones and tablets are not permitted on the floor unless there is a good reason to have one. If you require an electronic device to be present on the floor, let the teacher know.
Smart watches are allowed, but you must not fidget with it and keep your attention directed to the class.
The use of cameras and recording equipment is strictly forbidden.
Please keep your electronic devices off or on silent as phone calls or alarms can be very distracting to the teacher and others.
Strap Buckles
The straps have metal buckles that can make a loud noise if they are dropped or placed down without being gentle. Accidents can and will happen, but try to place down straps gently if possible.
Exiting The Class
If you need to leave the class for whatever reason whether you have something come up or need to use the restroom, you are more than welcome to do this and you don’t need to tell the teacher why.
Please be mindful of where you are stepping. Don’t walk over other participants. Keep a look out for props and water bottles so that you don’t knock them over or trip. We will not be held responsible for injuries sustained in this case.
After Class Finishes
At the end of class you will be asked to assist cleaning up your props as there is a 15 minute window to exit the class with many props to tidy up and the venue owners may issue Yoga Me penalty charges if this time is exceeded.
The blocks will go directly into the prop suitcase. The teacher will assist in placing them.
Unbuckle the straps and roll them into a cylinder and place it near the prop suitcase.
Blankets and sticky blankets (if used) should be folded twice lengthways and place them near the prop suitcase in separate piles.
You are welcome to give feedback or chat to others, but only after everyone has exited the venue.
